GRAHAMSTOWN DAM
- Approx. 200 km north of Sydney 2.5 hours drive
- Turn right off Pacific Highway on outskirts of Raymond Terrace, follow
Richardson Road around edge of Dam to Kiosk/launch site.
- Type of sailing: Longboard and slalom on fresh water reservoir great
for beginners
- Preferred breeze: West and north east
- Launching/rigging: Grass rigging area up to water sandy launch site.

The latest news from this location is that windsurfing is no
longer permitted. Also the Dam is closed until Sep 2007. Thanks go

NELSON'S BAY / CORLETTE
- Approx. 250 km north of Sydney / 3 hours drive
- Turn right off Pacific Highway just past the Hexham Bridge North of
Newcastle. Follow the signs to Nelson's Bay approx. 30 km. Turn left
at roundabout and head to Salamander Bay. Follow sign to Corlette.
- Type of sailing: Longboard and slalom in huge open bay
- Preferred breeze: nor'east in summer, westerly in winter
- Launching/rigging: Good grassed rigging with sandy beaches. Toilets
and shops nearby.
MYALL LAKES
- Approx. 300 km north of Sydney / 4 hours drive
- Turn right off Pacific Highway to Hawks Nest / Tea Gardens. Turn left
at "T" intersection after bridge and follow signs to Mungo Brush. Approx.
15 km of dirt road. Lake then seen on your left. This is part of a series
of lakes that can be explored by longboard or use a houseboat that can
be chartered as a base to do some exploring
- Type of sailing: longboard and slalom on enclosed lake
- Preferred breeze: Nor'east or southerly. Very good for beginners
- Launching/rigging: Access points to water through park and camping
sites
